Development of PhD human resources playing an active role in the society
~Evaluation methodology for development technique of PhD human resources~
Nagoya University Program for Leading Graduate Schools "PhD Professional Gateway to Success
in Frontier Asia (Toryumon)" will hold an international symposium to share and examine the experiences
of Vitae, academic skill development organization in the UK. At the symposium, we would like to share
information about the reorganization of the higher education that advances on a global scale and
to examine future PhD human resources development in Japan. We will appreciate your participation
in the symposium.
We think it is important for future Japanese higher education including program for Leading Graduate Schools
to examine contents and experiences of the evaluation methodology of the overseas university which has advanced
examples of PhD human resources development. Therefore, in the Part 1 we expect to get a suggestion
for the university reform of Japan by examining contents and experiences of the evaluation methodology
for PhD human resources in foreign countries. And then, in the Part 2, we would like to introduce PhD Toryumon's
past efforts focusing on our newly started "North Carolina Ambition Camp" as an example.
